French Bulldog editorial standards: research you can follow
Our standards call for research before drafting and sources readers can explore themselves. We draw on peer-reviewed studies, veterinary references, breed-health data and relevant experts’ published work.
Health claims, statistics and quotations must be traceable to their sources. Our checking criteria include whether the source supports the claim, whether numbers describe the right study population, and whether a quotation matches the original. Health content must include peer-reviewed research.
Published evidence, professional opinion and personal experience are different. We look for research specific to French Bulldogs or relevant breeds and explain important limits. A finding in another breed or one owner’s experience should not be presented as proof for every Frenchie.
Conventional and integrative perspectives in our French Bulldog editorial standards
