The Animal Keeper runs a dog daycare in Encinitas, California, open since 1979. Its website also mentions overnight boarding, grooming and training. When we checked in October 2026, it had a Google rating of 4.5 stars or higher across at least 50 reviews, which is our bar for listing.

Good to know for your Frenchie

Because French Bulldogs overheat fast, its climate-controlled play areas are a plus. Dogs join only after an evaluation or trial day. Before you book, ask how staff handle heat and give dogs time to rest. Share our Frenchie breathing guide with staff so they know which warning signs to watch for.
