What this means for a Frenchie

Neck pressure can make breathing harder for flat-faced breeds, which is why vets commonly recommend a harness instead of collar corrections for French Bulldogs. Reward-based trainers work without leash pops, prong or shock collars, which keeps the airway out of the lesson. Our force-free French Bulldog training guide covers the basics.
