Why it matters for French Bulldogs

Because flat-faced dogs can struggle to breathe with pressure on the neck, vets commonly recommend a harness over collar corrections for Frenchies. No leash pops, prong or shock collars: reward-based training keeps pressure off the airway. For more, see our guide to force-free French Bulldog training.
