Why this matters for Frenchie owners

Because flat-faced dogs can struggle to breathe with pressure on the neck, vets commonly recommend a harness over collar corrections for Frenchies. No leash pops, prong or shock collars: reward-based training keeps pressure off the airway. Start with our reward-based French Bulldog training guide.
