Why it matters for French Bulldogs

For French Bulldogs, vets commonly recommend a harness rather than collar corrections, since neck pressure can make breathing harder for flat-faced breeds. Reward-based trainers don’t use leash pops, prong or shock collars, which protects a Frenchie’s airway during training. For more, see our guide to force-free French Bulldog training.
