Hoosier Bulldog Rescue
English and French Bulldog rescue
About This Rescue
Hoosier Bulldog Rescue helps English and French Bulldogs in the Indianapolis area. It has no shelter building, so every dog lives in a foster home. Dogs come from shelters, puppy mill and breeder situations, and owners who can’t keep them. The rescue paused in 2025 and says it’s back to rescuing in 2026.

Before you apply
Rescue Frenchies often arrive with breathing, spine, skin or digestive problems, and a good rescue will tell you what’s been treated and what still needs care. Ask for the dog’s vet records, plan for follow-up visits, and read our French Bulldog health problems guide so you know what to watch for.
Sources: the rescue’s own website and public nonprofit records, checked October 2026. Available dogs, fees and adoption areas change, so confirm with the rescue before you apply.
