Austin Bulldog Rescue

English and French Bulldog rescue

About This Rescue

Austin Bulldog Rescue is a foster-based bulldog rescue with no shelter facility. Its mission centers on English Bulldogs, but in October 2026 its Petfinder page listed several French Bulldogs and Frenchie mixes. It adopts across Texas and to some out-of-state homes, but you have to come to Austin to meet and take home your dog. It won’t release flat-faced dogs to paid group ground transport.

Before you apply

Rescue Frenchies often arrive with breathing, spine, skin or digestive problems, and a good rescue will tell you what’s been treated and what still needs care. Ask for the dog’s vet records, plan for follow-up visits, and read our French Bulldog health problems guide so you know what to watch for.

Sources: the rescue’s own website and public nonprofit records, checked October 2026. Available dogs, fees and adoption areas change, so confirm with the rescue before you apply.
