Happy Tails – Portland

Happy Tails offers dog daycare in Portland, Maine. Along with daycare, its website lists overnight boarding, training, live webcams and pool or swim time. It’s here because it met our listing standard when we checked in October 2026: 4.5 stars or higher on Google from at least 50 reviews.

What Frenchie owners should know

It keeps small dogs in their own playgroups, which protects a Frenchie from rough play with big dogs. Play areas are climate-controlled, a real plus for a breed that overheats easily. It has live webcams, so you can see how your dog is doing during the day. Worth asking before day one: what happens on hot days, and how often dogs get rest breaks. The warning signs staff should know are in our French Bulldog breathing guide.
