Happy Hound Dog Resorts – Shirley Ave.

Happy Hound Dog Resorts offers dog daycare in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been open since 2014. Besides daycare, its website lists overnight boarding, grooming, training and live webcams. We list it because it cleared our standard in October 2026: a Google rating of at least 4.5 stars from 50 or more reviews.

Notes for French Bulldog owners

Small dogs play in their own groups, away from rough play with bigger dogs. Climate-controlled play areas help, since French Bulldogs overheat quickly. Live webcams let you check on your dog during the day. Before you book, ask how staff handle heat and give dogs time to rest. Our guide to French Bulldog breathing problems covers the signs daycare staff should watch for.
