About This Daycare
Black Bayou Boarding LLC runs a dog daycare in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Along with daycare, its website lists overnight boarding, grooming, training and pool or swim time. When we checked in October 2026, it had a Google rating of 4.5 stars or higher across at least 50 reviews, which is our bar for listing.
Notes for French Bulldog owners
It runs separate playgroups for small dogs, which keeps a Frenchie out of rough play with big dogs. Because French Bulldogs overheat fast, its climate-controlled play areas are a plus. Before joining, new dogs complete an evaluation or a trial day. Before you book, ask how staff handle heat and give dogs time to rest. Share our Frenchie breathing guide with staff so they know which warning signs to watch for.
